...so I decided to start christmas beading with my little christmas nest - easter/xmas fusion so to say. I wrapped 18 ga copper wire that I aged with Liver of Sulfur, added gorgeous 8mm czech metallic faceted beads in a luscious red, a scrap of a vibrant green sari ribbon and two little green crystal to give it an extra sparkle.
...daher habe ich beschlossen mit meinem Weihnachtsschmuck anzufangen. Den Auftakt macht mein kleines Weihnachtsnest - Oster/Weihnachtsfusion sozusagen. Die Basis ist 18 ga Kupferdraht, den ich mit Schwefelleber behandelt habe veriert mit wunderbaren 8 mm tschechischen Facetten-Perlen in einem fantastischen rot, ein Fitzelchen grüne Sari Seide und zwei kleine Kristalle für eine extra Portion Glitzer.
I have to say I'm happy with the result - it's lightweight yet festive and funny.
Ich muss sagen, ich bin sehr glücklich mit dem Resultat. Der Ring ist leicht, aber doch festlich und witzig.
