Springy soup - Reveal Day

As I told you before here in Cologne - although the snow is gone - no signs of spring anywhere. So the soup the fabulous Erin sent was much needed. Because there were signs of spring everywhere.

I got:
  • sari silk & wire mesh ribbon
  • memory thread
  • sterling silver toggle
  • seabreeze shell sticks
  • white enamel chain
  • aqua matte glass beads
  • recycled tin circles
  • faceted frosted grren glass
  • aqua & green lucite
  • 2 focal beads from Julianna Cannon
  • 1 enamel bead from Barbara Lewis
  • Blue & aqua pearls
  • epoxy enamel coated hexbuts (super cool!)

Meine Zutaten waren:
  • Sari Seide und Wire mesh
  • Memory Thread (eine Art Stickdraht)
  • Sterling Silber Verschluss
  • Perlmutt-Sticks
  • weiße Gliederkette
  • aqua-farbene matte Glasperlen
  • Scheiben aus reycelten Blechdosen
  • facettierte grüne matte Glasperlen
  • aquafarbene und grüne Lucite-Perlen
  • 2 Focal-Perlen von Julianna Cannon
  • 1 Enamel-Perle von Barbara Lewis
  • aquafarbene und blaue Süßwasserperlen
  • emallierte Muttern (supercool!)

And here is what I made with all these goodies: The 3 in 1 Necklace

Variation I

A mix made of shell sticks, lucite and glass-bead, pearls and the reycled tin disk as a pendant
Ein Mix aus den Perlmutt-Sticks, Lucite- und Glasperlen, Süßwasserperlen und einer Blechscheine als Anhänger.

Variation II

The same mix but this time the pendant is made of the focal beads of Juls and the memory thread

Variation III

All together - Alles zusammen

But Erin sent me beads galore so I was able to make the matching  bracelet. Same mix this time with the chain and the cool hexnuts (LOVE them) as a dangle and counterweight.

And here is my little spring.set together - Und hier ist mein kleines Frühlingsset zusammen:

Thank you Erin from the bottom of my heart - I will always think about you when I wear my new favorite necklace. To know that you picked all these beauties for me means much.

Oh - I almost forgot: This was my soup - Upps, das hätte ich jetzt beinahe vergessen: Das war meine Suppe

And big, big, big thank you for our great hostess Lori. You rock!

So please visit now the other 209 participants from the biggest Soup-Party ever - I promise you, eye-candy galore.

Whoa! That is some AWESOME SOUP Miss Stefanie! The colors work so well together. Don't you just love those hexnuts? I made a really over the top piece (it is in my Flickr post or maybe on my website) with red, orange and pink ones. I had those painted just for me by a friend of mine. I only have a few left so I am so glad that you love them! And that green wire! So cool! I have not used it yet, so it is so great to see how you can use it. You did a fabulous job, and it was my pleasure to be your partner. You will have to wait a bit longer for mine....another 12 hours or more!
Mostly, I am grateful to make a new friend, especially one from across the globe!
Enjoy the day, Stefanie! This Soup Party is going to ROCK!

Oh, my! Such fun pieces! I'm drooling over your bracelet. :D But the necklace is also brilliant. I like that there's three variations for a customized look. My favorite part about these, though, is the great textural look you've created with the particular design choices you went with. I love it! Way to use your pieces to their strongest. :D Well done!

A fantastic job, you've done with your soup. Love the fact you made different variations.

Lovely!

And I really enjoyed your travelogue posts about Paris, too! I had a mini-vacation just sitting here in my chair.
